Conference attendees look for more than educational knowledge and exhibit hall demos when they travel to an event. They also want to network and collaborate with other attendees. It is imperative for event managers to provide an environment where it is easy for attendees to network with their colleagues.

Alliance Tech’s Networker is a social networking application designed to facilitate attendee networking before, during and after event. As part of the pre-event website, attendees are able to search for other attendees who match their interests and criteria. Once a match is found, the user is able to send an invitation for an onsite meeting, reserve a meeting room or location, and correspond with their colleague via an event email system. Personal information such as the attendee’s corporate email address is kept private and secure from other attendees viewing.

The goal is for an attendee to maximize their time and be able to set up many onsite meetings. With Networker, conference attendees are able to maximize their time on site. Networker also gives an event planner or conference management the ability to generate reports that measure the quantity of attendee networking activity and onsite meetings.
