Alliance Tech Selected to Provide Event Technology
for 2005 CMO Council Summit
Marketing Performance Metrics for Events
Provides Return on Investment
AUSTIN, Texas (October 12, 2005) — Alliance
Tech, the premier event data management (EDM) solution provider, has
been selected by the CMO Council to provide a wireless based interactive
application to facilitate roundtable discussions, capture real time
content and display results during the proceedings on October 27-28
to more than 250 senior marketing executives. Alliance Tech will also
provide Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) attendee tracking to
demonstrate how attendee preferences can be measured at an event.
“We invited Alliance Tech as a partner to this year’s
CMO Summit to help us demonstrate the role of technology in improving
the value and experience of corporate events,” said Donovan
Neale-May, executive director of the CMO Council. “Every event
marketer today is concerned with qualifying leads and quantifying
ROI, but that takes more than just metrics. At this year’s summit,
Alliance Tech is bringing the kind of innovative technologies that
help engage the audience, circulate ideas, and gather critical insights
about audience perceptions and preferences.”
“Being a technology partner to the CMO Summit is welcomed
opportunity for us, said Art Borrego, CEO of Alliance Tech, Inc. We
are able to showcase how MPM can be applied to events to quantify
and measure a return on investment (ROI). With our event data management
solutions, marketing executives can measure the effectiveness of individual
and collective event attributes and track attendees’ actions
and outcomes before, during and after an event.”
According to the CMO council, large technology companies spend about
20 percent of their annual marketing budget on events, yet the ROI
is not easy to quantify or measure for events to know how they affect
the business performance of a company. “With MPM becoming a
major strategic imperative for global marketers, coupled with the
need for on-demand functionality, it will be even more critical to
have electronic measurement tools to document how events contribute
to business results, “ stated Donovan Neale-May.
