The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) to offer RFID-based Booth Traffic Analytics at Annual Meeting

OAK BROOK, Illinois (June 4, 2007) Two industry leaders in marketing intelligence solutions, Alliance Tech and ExperientTM have partnered to provide the industry's preeminent booth traffic reporting and analysis solution for RSNA exhibitors at the RSNA Annual Meeting, November 25 – 30, 2007 in Chicago. Additionally, a pilot group of exhibitors will be offered the ability to capture booth traffic and visitor details, segmented by demographics, for each product area tracked.  

“RSNA is excited to offer RFID technology as it will provide us with an opportunity to better understand our attendees' needs and preferences. And it will offer our exhibitors a means to increase the value of their participation in our event,” says Steve Drew, Assistant Executive Director, RSNA.  

RFID allows for an accurate and non-invasive way of providing attendance tracking. The solution will supply RSNA and exhibitors with the ability to understand their attendees' interests and preferences through accurate, web based reports. The initial offering will allow exhibitors to capture attendance and traffic pattern data by meaningful demographics such as job function, geography, and organization.

In previous years, temp staff was used to scan attendees in and out of entrances causing traffic flow issues.
