Alliance Tech Wins "Technology Shootout" at CEMA
Alliance Tech's RFID attendee tracking technology is tops in the industry according to executives & meeting planners at the Corporate Events Marketing Association (CEMA).
DANA POINT, California (July 18, 2006)
— Alliance Tech Inc., the leader in
marketing performance measurements for the meetings,
conference and events industry, made an impact this
week at the Corporate Event Marketing Association’s
annual conference, held this week in Dana Point, California.
Alliance Tech participated in a “Technology
Shoot out” in which leading event technology
companies had just five minutes to demonstrate their
product, explain the value proposition and state why
their solution should be awarded as the best technology
in the industry. Voting took place at the end of the
session, and Alliance Tech took first place — a
considerable positive nod by industry peers and corporate
event planners.
“This was the first year we have offered a technology
shoot out to our attendees and clearly it was a huge
success with corporate planners” stated Erika
Brunke, Executive Director of CEMA. “We congratulate
Alliance Tech, a new member to the organization, for
being voted the winner.”
Alliance Tech was chosen to speak on RFID: Understanding
Attendee’s Interests, Behavior and Preferences at
this year’s CEMA Conference. Providing
expert commentary, along with longtime client SAS,
about the explosive new technology that is truly
changing the face of the meetings and events industry.
It’s that expertise that brought the company
to California this week to participate at CEMA.
“The benefit of RFID for Meetings, Conferences & Events
truly comes from being able to effectively measure
and enhance the value of conference and tradeshows. This
new insight simply has not been available to companies
until now.” says Roger Lewis, Senior Vice President
of Alliance Tech who delivered the CEMA presentation
this week at the Technology shoot out. “With
our RFID solution, companies are now able to truly
understand what is important to attendees onsite at
conferences and tradeshows.”
Alliance Tech is the first company to offer a complete
integrated event solution that includes RFID
attendee tracking, lead management, surveys, social
networking and event analytics. Instead of simply
estimating attendee impressions at a particular event,
Alliance Tech’s software solutions can deliver
that information to planners almost immediately.
“RFID technology is giving companies tremendous
value and return on a considerable investment in either
hosting a conference or participating in an industry
tradeshow” says Roger Lewis. “Imagine the
power of knowing the demographics of everyone who enters
your exhibited booth, which product demonstrations
were the most popular and the average time an attendee
spends in your booth”.
In the past, companies had to wait weeks to months
for market research firms to analyze the data collected
at events . Alliance Tech not only delivers initial
reports on-site, but is also able to present the information
in a visual summary format which is effective in presenting
to executives. Alliance Tech’s data easily integrates
with leading CRM solutions such as Siebel and SaleForce.com.
