Alliance Tech wins a 3-year contract for the annual Teradata PARTNERS User Group Conference

Teradata, a division of NCR, recently awarded Alliance Tech a 3 year contract to provide event solutions for their a nnual Teradata PARTNERS User Group Conference. PARTNERS is a must-attend event for Teradata professionals, offering them the opportunity to connect with colleagues and industry experts from around the world.

Teradata has partnered with Alliance Tech on this event since 2003. At the most recent Partners User Group Conference, held in October of 2004, Alliance Tech provided several event solutions including Conference Messaging, Message Board, Mobile Conference Guide, and a solution unique to Teradata – a “Pop-up meeting scheduler”.

The conference offers seminars and an Exhibit Hall, but the primary reason Teradata professionals travel to this event is to network and collaborate with others in the industry. It was important to Teradata to foster this kind of environment and provide a real value-ad to their attendees.

The Conference Messaging kiosks enabled attendees to view session and exhibitor information, as well as search for attendees by criteria such as name, company, geography and areas of interest. They could then use Event Email to send a message to the attendee(s) who fit a specific profile. The Pop-up Meeting Scheduler gave attendees the ability to find and reserve open rooms at the conference to set up meetings and networking sessions. This proved to be one of the most popular tools Alliance Tech provided at the event.
