Alliance Tech delivers largest RFID solution for Conferences

tracking utilized for session attendance reports at
IBM Software University
LAS VEGAS (February 1, 2006)
— Alliance Tech, a leading provider
of solutions to the events industry, delivered the largest
radio frequency identification (RFID) conference tracking
solution to date at IBM’s Software University
event in Las Vegas. The solution included monitoring
over 200 session entrances with over 400 antennas. The
system reported attendance of IBM sales representatives
as they entered training sessions throughout the week.
Alliance Tech provides software solutions that allow
organizations to measure and enhance the effectiveness
of their meetings, conferences and events.
Alliance Tech’s RFID Attendance Reporter software captures,
tracks, and analyzes traffic patterns of conference attendees. Each
attendee is outfitted with a RFID tag and tracked through a unique
identification number. No personal information is stored on the tag
which ensures attendee privacy. These reports provided event managers
Marketing Performance Measurements (MPM) that allowed them to understand
the effectiveness of their event and quantify a Return on Investment
(ROI).

Additionally at the event, Alliance Tech provided the lead retrieval
solution, Lead Manager. The solution utilizes a state-of-the-art Symbol
MC-50 2D scanner with a thumb pad keyboard. Exhibitors captured leads
by scanning attendee badges and then enter comments via the thumb
pad keyboard. Post event exhibitors were able to logon to Alliance
Tech’s website to view and download their leads. The combination
of Alliance Tech software and a mobile scanner provides exhibitors
with the most advance solution in the lead retrieval market place.
