Management Team

Art Borrego
CEO and President

Since its inception Art Borrego has led the direction and management team of AllianceTech. Prior to AllianceTech, Art was CEO and President of Team Tech, Inc. Under Mr. Borrego's leadership the company produced long-term profitability and sustained growth that was recognized in the Inc. 500 List of 2000. After the acquisition of Team Tech by AppliedTheory Corporation in June of 2000, Art became VP of Corporate Development. Prior to Team Tech, Mr. Borrego enjoyed a nine-year career with IBM's Personal Software Products division in global product management, defining and negotiating IBM's relationships with premier software vendors. Art earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas El Paso in 1987 and is actively involved in the Austin Community.

Roger Lewis
Vice President Sales & Marketing

Roger has been instrumental in the success of AllianceTech 's revenue growth, branding, and business development. His design and execution of sales and marketing has lead to fortune 500 accounts with Cisco, IBM, Dell, and NCR. Prior to AllianceTech, Roger was responsible for leading Team Tech International through five years of double digit sales growth. In 1999, the Austin Business Journal recognized Team Tech as one of Austin's Fastest Growing Companies and the company placed 148 on Inc. 500 list. After the acquisition of Team Tech by AppliedTheory Corporation in 2000, Roger became Director of Research and Development. Prior to joining Team Tech, Mr. Lewis enjoyed a 12-year career with IBM, gaining a wealth of sales management and technology experience. Mr. Lewis worked with Fortune 500 customers such as Amoco, Shell, and Ford. Mr. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana in 1982, and MBA training from the University of Houston and IBM.

Tim Blackwood
Vice President of Operations

Tim has quickly established an infrastructure for the smooth and successful delivery of solutions to our customers along with proven processes that position the company for scalable growth. Prior to AllianceTech, Tim served in the same capacity in the growth of Team Tech. After the acquisition of Team Tech by AppliedTheory Corporation in 2000, Tim became VP of Operations for the Western Region of the public company. Tim Blackwood holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and enjoyed a 10-year career with IBM working with ISV product development and marketing organizations as well as Fortune 500 accounts. Within the Events industry, Tim is recognized as a technology expert and has delivered presentations, seminars and courses on the subject worldwide.
